A hanged dead body of a women bank officer recovered in Chittagong city, relatives claimed that she has a mental problem and its a suicide. Monday Panchlaish Police have recovered the hanging body of a bank official named Kamrunnahar (30) at Muradpur in Chittagong’s Panchlaish.
The dead body recovered from a rented house in the ‘Gauchia Bari’ area at around 12 pm on Monday (January 11, 2021) with a scarf wrapped around her neck. However, police believe that the bank official died at some point in the middle of the night on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Kamrunnahar, daughter of Jamal Ahmed of West Dengapara in Patia Upazila of Chittagong district. she was working in Islami Bank.
Jamal Ahmed (the uncle of the deceased) claimed, ‘Kamrunnahar worked as a bank official. She lived in a rented house in Muradpur. She had mental problems. A few days ago, she was also shown a doctor in this regard. But I don’t understand why he committed suicide yesterday.
Some of the neighbors said She lived alone in that house. We did not know that she has a mental issue. Yesterday, she did not open her door for a long time. The owner of the building went to look for her and found her hanging. The police later rescued her and took her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Panchlaish Police Station Abul Kashem Bhuiyan told that ‘We recovered the hanging body of a woman bank officer from a rented house in Mohammadpur area at night. We can’t say anything before the forensic test report drawn. The body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy.
