Popular Indian actress Sakshi Pradhan has debuted in Bangladesh with the movie MR-9: Do or Die. The film stars Masood Rana and was based on a novel by the renowned Bangladeshi novelist Kazi Anwar Hossain. Sakshi Pradhan stars as the lead role of Devi, an Indian spy who joins forces with a Bangladeshi investigator, played by Masud Rana. The trailer for the film was released on Tuesday night, and it has since sparked widespread interest and discussion about the plot and main witness.
Sakshi Pradhan, an actress who was already well-known in India, shot to stardom with her performances in a string of critically acclaimed television shows—”Naagin 3″ (2018) and “Poison” (2019). Fans of G5’s ‘Poison’ series praised her turn as Rani. Sakshi has acted in several film and television series, including “Ragini MMS,” “Poison 2,” “Peshwar,” “Tamanna,” “Badman,” and “Tequila Nights,” among others. She has hosted shows like “Kissed by the Sea” and “Seppi Sakshi Season 3” in addition to her acting career. Her performance in an item song was featured in a Kannada film given the name “Lakshmi.”
In an interview, Sakshi talked about her amazement at being a part of a Hollywood production and her enthusiasm at working on her first film set outside of India. For ‘MR-Nine,’ Monika, the casting director, saw her on Instagram and immediately asked her to join the cast.
‘MR-Nine: Do or Die’ producers came from all over the world, including Bangladesh’s Jazz Multimedia and California’s The Film Post, as well as the UK’s Chasing Butterflies Pictures and the US’ Al Bravo and ‘MR-Nine’ Films. Asif Akbar, a Bangladeshi-born Hollywood producer, oversaw its production. Frank Grillos, Michael Jay White, Nico Foster, Matt Passmore, Oleg Pradus, Kelly Grayson, and Jessia Islam, Tiger Ravi, and Anisur Rahman Milan are among the American and Bangladeshi actors who appear in this film.
The film’s trailer debuted in May at the Marche du Film at the Cannes Film Festival and quickly became a critical and commercial success. On August 25th, ‘MR-Nine: Do or Die’ will be released in both Bangladesh and the United States.
